On Saturday, June 8th, new, active, and sustaining JLB members worked together at 8 different community impact sites between 9am and noon. We will celebrated our centennial anniversary by making an impact on our community. Whether painting, gardening, sewing, or organizing, we worked together to make it a successful service! Our community partners for our Centennial Day of Service included: Buffalo Prenatal-Perinatal Network, Compass House, Cornerstone Manor, FeedMore WNY, Jericho Road Ministries, Oishei Children’s Hospital, Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site, and Tifft Nature Preserve.
The Junior League of Buffalo celebrated our Centennial anniversary on June 5, 2019. In order to commemorate this historic milestone, we organized a Centennial Day of Service in partnership with local community organizations on June 8, 2019. JLB Members will be delivering 99 lawn signs of buffalos to past and present partners in the community to who have benefitted from our generosity in order to show what 100 years of impact looks like. Look for them as you walk or drive around Western New York!
