Volunteer Opportunities in Support of
The Junior League of Buffalo and The Buffalo News 16th Decorators’ Show House

The Junior League of Buffalo and The Buffalo News will present the 16th Decorators’ Show House from April 30th – May 22nd, 2011.  The Bayliss-Oshei Residence has been selected as the site of the 2011 Decorators’ Show House.  Located at 360 Depew Avenue in Buffalo’s Central Park community, the home sits directly across from Burke’s Green on land that was originally the Lewis J. Bennett Estate.  Over 40 of Western New York’s finest decorators and landscapers will combine their talents to create a wonderful opportunity for the community to tour and enjoy this beautiful property.  

We are offering civic-minded individuals the opportunity to participate in this project by acting as hosts or hostesses in the decorated spaces.  A volunteer shift lasts approximately 4 hours.  During the shift, the volunteer will be standing, greeting the visitors and explaining the features of the decorated space. 

We hope you will be able to participate in this exciting project.  All members will be invited to an optional information meeting during the week of April 11th to learn more about this beautiful residence.  If you are interested in joining us by volunteering your time and talents, please contact Hadar Borden at jlbshowhousestaffing@gmail.com.
